Do you want to affect the lives of young people who are struggling to overcome addiction?Triple Divide Lodge is the only program of its kind. In our 90-day program, we combine residential and wilderness therapy treatment for adolescent males 14-19. We help young men struggling with substance use disorders and other related co-occurring issues. We help clients overcome their substance use issues by getting outside of their comfort zones and experiencing the growth the wilderness inspires. Instructors will work a schedule combining full time shifts and duties on campus with trips into the backcountry. On average Wilderness Instructors will be leading an extended backpacking trip every other month, this is subject to the number and therapeutic needs of our clients. This position requires a one year commitment.
Full Time, Year-Round
Average Yearly Pay Range: $39k – $43k, DOE
Wilderness Instructors are responsible for the operations related to the adventure aspects of the program. Instructors will work a schedule combining full time shifts and duties on campus with trips into the backcountry. This position requires a one year commitment.

Six paid holidays a year, and if you work on a holiday, you get holiday pay and an additional day off.

Valid Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness EMT Certification.
Highly proficient at backpacking and outdoor activities year-round.
Able to teach outdoor skills and safety to clients with no experience.
Ability to build report with clients while also maintain TDL boundaries.
