Rocky Mountain Youth Corps offers a chance to gain experience, create relationships, and make a difference on your public lands. Our internships aim to give people an opportunity to experience work outdoors regardless of your background.
Interns will work alongside the US Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management in various locations across Colorado and southern Wyoming. Our participants will gain experience, make connections, and serve public lands.

Upon successful completion of the season, participants will qualify for the Public Land Corps Hiring Authority, which gives priority hiring when applying for jobs with the USFS and BLM. It takes two years of year-round work with a federal agency to qualify at the same level. In order to qualify, you must reach a minimum of 640 hours of work and education throughout the term.
