🚨 NOW HIRING: Traveling Outdoor Adventure Instructors (Nationwide)

Want to travel the country (and occasionally overseas) while working with kids?
We Are Camps is hiring Outdoor Adventure Instructors to deliver programs on U.S. Air Force bases. 

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Lead hands-on survival + outdoor activities
• Work with youth (ages 9–18)
• Facilitate leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving 

✈️ The Role:
• 100% travel (new location each week)
• Travel + lodging fully covered
• Fly or drive (must be comfortable with both)
•Weekend travel to next location is REQUIRED (no exceptions) 

💰 Pay:
• $600/week (Instructors)
• $800/week (Leads)
• ~$40/day per diem
• Paid weekly 

🔥 What We Need: 

• Knowledge and experience teaching survival skills (shelter, navigation, signaling, first aid) 
• Familiar with outdoor adventure instruction (climbing, mountain biking, paddlesports, mountaineering, orienteering/geocaching)  

• EXTREMELY flexible & adaptable (this is critical) 
• Organized + accountable (travel, receipts, timing matter)  
• Strong communicator + confident leader 
• Comfortable working independently (sometimes solo) 
• Great with kids, high energy, and professional 
• Reliable, punctual, and able to navigate travel logistic 

⚠️ Travel & Expense Compliance:
• Company card use is strictly monitored
• Receipts must be uploaded immediately via mobile app
• Must follow lodging + travel rules (on-base lodging required when available)
• No unauthorized travel or expenses

You’ll work in constantly changing environments with military protocols and unpredictable conditions. If you’re flexible, organized, and thrive under pressure—you’ll succeed here. 

Minimum Requirements

⚠️ Requirements (MANDATED):
• Must pass DoD/USAF background check (fingerprints + federal screening required before working with youth)
• Must have REAL ID (required for base access and domestic travel)
• Must have a VALID U.S. PASSPORT in hand (not applied for — required before hire)
• Must comply with all military installation access procedures
