The YMCA of the Rockies focuses on community, character development, and connection with nature. Many employees enjoy contributing to a mission that supports families, youth development, healthy living, and spiritual growth.
Located in scenic mountain areas (Estes Park and Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado), the organization offers opportunities to work in beautiful outdoor settings. People who enjoy hiking, skiing, nature, and outdoor recreation are often drawn to this environment.
Staff interact with families, children, and guests on a personal level—creating positive experiences, helping guests learn new skills, and supporting events that build community. This is fulfilling for those who enjoy making a difference in others’ lives.
YMCA workplaces are known for collaborative, values-focused culture. Many employees appreciate working alongside like-minded people who value service, respect, integrity, and caring.
Positions at YMCA of the Rockies span a wide range—from hospitality and guest services to recreation leadership, outdoor education, and program coordination. This variety allows employees to build skills in leadership, customer service, facility operations, and program development.
For people who love mentoring, coaching, teaching, or facilitating youth programs (like camps or educational activities), working at the YMCA of the Rockies offers direct engagement with young people in a structured and impactful setting.
