Student Engagement Specialist – AmeriCorps

Job Overview

Alpine Achievers Initiative (AAI) inspires, connects, and nurtures youth, families, and communities in south-central Colorado. AmeriCorps members support local youth, from pre-k to highschool, through academic interventions and extracurricular programming as Student Engagement Specialists with AAI. During the 23/24 service term, members will be placed with host sites across seven counties throughout the San Luis and Arkansas River Valleys.

In addition to mentoring youth, we provide service members with opportunities for backpacking, skiing, mountain biking and other awesome outdoor recreational activities. This is a great position for recent graduates and those hoping to gain more experience in the social service and educational field without a multi-year commitment. Simultaneously, you can earn an education award to pay off past student loans or attribute to future schooling.
