ALOHA MISSION-The Aloha Foundation is a Vermont-based nonprofit that provides summer camps, family camps, and education programs emphasizing simplicity, the outdoors, and living in community. Our camping programs and purposeful communities, knit together by shared values, inspire people of all ages to learn, explore, and become their best selves. Since 1905, Aloha has introduced campers to skills, programs, and opportunities they may never have encountered previously, creating a safe space for them to take risks and embrace new challenges. At Aloha, we celebrate campers’ different strengths and interests, and support people in developing lifelong passions and confidence. Mentored by well-trained staff from around the globe, Aloha campers learn both interpersonal and technical skills in a welcoming and rustic environment full of sunshine and clean air. Our campers build lasting friendships, stretch their skills, and develop a meaningful connection to the outdoors.

Job Overview

The Hulbert Outdoor Center is seeking energetic, enthusiastic Seasonal Instructors to lead
hands-on, experiential education programs for school, college, and adult groups. Our
programs focus on teamwork, leadership, communication, and connection to the
outdoors, all on our stunning 400+ acre campus.
What You’ll Do
• Facilitate teambuilding games, group challenges, and outdoor activities
• Lead high and low ropes courses (training provided)
• Support day, overnight, and weekend programs and retreats
• Help participants build confidence, community, and leadership skills

• Seasonal position (primarily spring and fall)

Minimum Requirements

Requirements
• Strong commitment to educating children and communities
• Experience working with children preferred
• Basic First Aid Certification; Wilderness First Aid Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record is desired
• Willingness to be flexible and take on varied tasks that support the program
• Mastery of all levels of training on the Hulbert Ropes Course and essential Hulbert
program elements
