Mount Rushmore Memorial operates a variety dining outlets serving convenient grab-and-go meals, coffee and desserts. We offer opportunities to share your passion for hospitality by greeting and serving guests front of house or by working back of house, where you will be assisting in the kitchen by cleaning dishes or prepping our guest’s top notch meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
• Operate cash register and tender payment accurately.
• Prepare some food items and serve food and beverages to guests while complying with ServSafe protocol.
• Bus tables as needed, clearing and sanitizing tables between guests.
• Ensure dirty dishes are taken to kitchen.
• Ensure dining room is fully stocked with linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and condiments.
• Assist in keeping dining room and work area clean and sanitized.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous food & beverage experience; fast food experience preferred.
• Public contact experience with a willingness to courteously interact with a broad cross-section of customers in a high-volume seasonal food service operation.
• Ability to properly handle and secure cash and credit cards; basic math skills and ability to make change.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk continuously for eight to ten hours.
