You’re a natural leader and have experience supervising volunteers or managing projects. You love physical fitness and are confident about leading social or fitness-related activities. You’re passionate about recovery from substance use disorder and believe in the power of community. You’ve seen the challenges that stigma creates and want to help us fight them. This position will focus on volunteer recruitment, building connections in the local recovery community, and leading activities such as CrossFit, yoga, kickboxing, art nights, book clubs, and socials. The ideal candidate will have a talent for community engagement, a background in instructing, and a solid administrative skillset. Through activities such as CrossFit, climbing, hiking, yoga, boxing, and meditation, participants build confidence, self-respect, and community. The Phoenix offers free programs for anyone with 48 hours of sobriety, operating in 108 counties across 36 states and for people around the globe virtually. Since 2006, we have served 77,669 individuals.
