Job Overview

Introduction

As Avid4 Adventure’s Expedition Supervisor, you will become part of a team that shares the belief that participation in the outdoors has the power to transform kids’ lives. Our summer camps empower pre-K – 12th graders with the skills and confidence to live active, healthy lifestyles as they learn to paddle, bike, hike, climb and thrive in the outdoors. The Expedition Supervisor is responsible for contributing to the strategy and execution of Avid4 Adventure’s Expedition programs in Colorado. The Expedition Manager will work closely with the Expedition Senior Manager, VP of Overnight Programs, and the rest of the Avid4 Adventure Leadership Team to identify future expedition trips in the region, obtain permits for outdoor recreational activities, recruit Camp Directors and camp staff, and coach Camp Directors to provide the highest quality summer camp programming. The Expedition Supervisor is an integral part of our success in empowering kids to be active for life.

At Avid4, we embrace inclusion, diversity, justice, and equity, and we acknowledge that the outdoor/adventure education industry has been and remains a space dominated by white privilege and those from a higher socioeconomic status. We are actively working to improve diversity and inclusion both within Avid4 Adventure and in the outdoor industry! Visit our Inclusivity page to learn more about our commitment and progress.
