Main Office Staff
These positions require good communication and customer service skills. Applicants must have basic computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to answer the phone, take messages, direct calls, interact with the public, and support Mountain Campus administrative staff.
Positions require attention to detail, handling of money and ability to work with a small cash register and credit card machine. Office staff needs to be flexible yet able to follow set work policies and procedures and must be motivated and able to exhibit a friendly, customer service attitude under stress. Office staff are expected to handle cash and credit card payments and facilitate purchases in the Mountain Campus Store, open most evenings. Select crew members will also work part-time as Challenge Course Facilitators.
Lead Office position: In addition to the above, the Lead Office position is responsible for office and store staff scheduling, special projects, assisting with training of new staff and other duties as assigned. This lead position is best suited for those with full-season work availability (Mid-May to Mid-October).
Program Assistant
The Program Assistant acts as an administrative assistant for multiple positions. They serve as an office crew member, challenge course facilitator, and will be asked to support conference operations including checking in guests and providing campus orientations. The program assistant will play a large role in the support of the Eco Week program, including scheduling. Applicants should be self-sufficient, able to manage multiple tasks, flexible, reliable, and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. They should be able to exercise discretion and sound judgement. Understanding of Mountain Campus operations and Eco Week structure is preferred. This position is full season – students enrolled in fall classes need not apply.
