Job Overview

Part-time Farm Camp Nurse:
Wolfe’s Neck Center Farm Camp, located in Freeport, ME is planning to offer day camp programming for the 2021 season, and is seeking an experienced nurse to join the team on a part-time basis. Rate of pay for this position would be $17.50 – $20.00 per hour (depending on level of certification). We are looking for someone who can commit to the
duration of our program season (June 28 – August 27), including two half-days of staff training on Thursday & Friday, June 24 & 25.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing daily pre-screenings of all campers
• Working with Camp Manager to maintain camp health and cleanliness standards
• Provision of emergency care
• Management and administration of all over the counter, prescription, and emergency medications for
all campers and staff
• Oversight of day camp First Aid Room supplies and First Aid Kits

All staff must adhere to the health and safety standards of the State of Maine and American Camping Association, including any new guidelines and policies regarding the spread of COVID-19. Anticipated work hours are from 8:00am to 10:00am Monday through Friday.

Minimum qualifications:
• At least 21 years of age
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Maine, or EMT Certified
• Must enjoy working with children of all backgrounds
• Passionate about working in an outdoor setting and engaging campers ages 4-14.
