Whitewater Rafting Guides – Summer 2026 (Golden, BC, Canada)

Company: Glacier Raft Company
Location: 1509 Lafontaine Rd, Golden, BC V0A 1H3
Season: May 1 – September 30, 2026 (dependent on river conditions)
Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Language: English

Compensation

  • $25.00–$28.85 per hour, based on experience and certifications
    • Equivalent to $115–$130 per river section (up to 3 sections/day in peak season)
    • Year-end performance bonus for staff who complete the full season
    • Additional incentives for leadership, training, or driving roles

Job Description

Join one of Canada’s most respected rafting companies for an unforgettable summer on the Kicking Horse River. You’ll guide guests through world-class whitewater, lead safety briefings, and ensure top-tier experiences on every trip.

Responsibilities include:**
• Safely guide Class III–IV+ rafting trips
• Provide clear safety talks and paddling instructions
• Rig/de-rig rafts and maintain gear
• Support logistics and guest flow
• Represent Glacier Raft with professionalism and enthusiasm

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience guiding on Class III–IV whitewater
• Valid Swiftwater Rescue Technician certification
• Valid 50-hour First Aid certificate (80-hour preferred)
• Experience guiding with oars
• Passion for safety, teamwork, and guest service
