Full-time/Part-time

Do you love being on the water and taking people on paddling adventures that they’ll always remember? Do you also thrive when providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail setting? If your answer is yes, then we’ve designed the perfect role that marries outdoor enthusiasm with retail savvy, right in the Ottawa Valley’s vibrant landscape!

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • Spend most of your working hours outdoors, guiding paddling trips or helping customers at our Demo Centre.
  • Split your time between thrilling outdoor adventures and engaging retail experiences.
  • Receive competitive compensation, plus irresistible discounts on gear.
  • Be part of a close-knit team that values fun, adventure, and the great outdoors.
  • Have the opportunity to guide our signature Kaleidoscope Kayaking event, showcasing the beauty of downtown Ottawa.

Your Role:

As a Paddling Guide, you’ll co-captain our guest’s outdoor experiences, leading them through scenic routes and ensuring a safe and memorable journey. Your knowledge of local waters, passion for storytelling, and ability to cater to various skill levels will make each trip a unique adventure.

At our Demo Centre, you’ll inspire customers to dive into paddling, while showcasing the boats we have to offer and helping customers choose the appropriate boat that suits their needs and specifications.

Expect to spend 1-3 of your weekly shifts outdoors, with the rest of your schedule based at our retail location in downtown Arnprior. You’ll help customers navigate our wide range of products, ensuring they have everything they need for their next adventure.

How to Apply:

Ready to dive into this opportunity? Send your resume and a brief cover letter telling us about your most memorable outdoor adventure to our email address. We’re looking forward to hearing how you can make waves at our store!

We offer competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a fun and dynamic environment with other like-minded individuals. We take pride in our team’s accomplishments and offer opportunities for further training and career development.

Don’t miss the boat! Send your resume and cover letter to [email protected] and tell us about your favourite paddling adventure.
