Position Title: Kitchen Assistant
Position Reports To: Kitchen Manager and Outdoor Education Center Director

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Seasonal Employee
To assist the Kitchen manager in preparing and serving nutritious meals and in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area. This position is responsible for the preparation, service, and clean-up of breakfast from a pre-planned weekly menu; assisting the kitchen manager with the preparation, service, and clean-up of lunch; and the preparation and baking of the dinner dessert. All food service work is supported by additional camp staff during mealtimes.
The Outdoor Education Center team forms a fun, passionate, engaged learning community who are interested in making a difference in the lives of children. We share the values of being inclusive, growing new skills, learning together, and communicating well in order to work together effectively.
Schedule: 40-hour weeks, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm with a 1 hour break mid-morning
