Work outside, every day, in gorgeous Boulder, Colorado. Mentor youth, steward the land, and support environmental education.
The Junior Ranger Program Coordinator provides field support, leadership, and environmental education for the Junior Ranger program (a youth conservation corps for teens age 14 – 17). This position will visit crews in the field, support work projects (especially trail work), substitute as a Crew Leader, and provide environmental education. They also manage media & photos, schedule work projects, and coordinate formal educational opportunities with the Education & Outreach team.
Occasional paid overtime (optional) is available.
This is approximately a 4-month role with an opportunity to return annually/reapply (approximately mid-April/early May – late August).
