About Four Mile Historic Park

Four Mile Historic Park stands apart as a historic landmark and refuge from the hustle-bustle of modern life in the city. Take a break to stroll the grounds, have a picnic, and enjoy this stand-alone destination for historic preservation.

During general admission hours, 4MHP offers guests a chance to explore the oldest standing house in Denver and meet some delightful farm animals without leaving the city--many of our younger guests have never seen horses, pigs, or goats in person before! Field trips and other educational programs make the space accessible to students across the Front Range.

Exciting events like the Pumpkin Harvest Festival in October are seasonal staples for families across the Front Range, and newer offerings like Spirits & Spirits (a 21+ Halloween event featuring tarot reading, libations, and aura photography) and the new Family Egg Hunt and Drag Egg Hunt are becoming fast favorites in the community.
