About Camp W

Camp W is a wilderness based home away from home for youth ages 4-17. Youth stay in three walled cabins on main campus, with opportunities to sleep in a hammock, a shelter that they build, or under the stars at our primitive camping locations. Campers get to choose between exciting daily adventurous activities like climbing, archery, boating, swimming, ancient weaponry or slower options like yoga, gardening, fishing, music, arts & crafts, and many more. Campers can also register for multi-day backcountry canoe and backpacking trips.

We work with each camper to try new things and hone existing skills to enrich lives through learning, connection, and experiences. Whether new to the woods or a seasoned camper we see the light in each camper shine at Camp W!

Our campers have come from all corners of the world to experience the Camp W community and foster life-long relationships with the natural world through exceptional mentoring, nature education, and exciting activities.

The basket of community that has been woven here for nearly 100 years continues to grow and evolve with numerous new programs & adventures.
