Since 1919, Camp Manito-wish YMCA has enriched the lives and leadership skills of countless people, and that includes our staff. Since 1919, Camp Manito-wish YMCA has enriched the lives and leadership skills of countless participants- and that includes our staff.  A large percentage of seasonal employees return each year, with the average tenure at Camp being an impressive 4 years.  An overwhelming number of staff alumni credit the renown leadership training they gained here for successes in their careers and communities.  Most importantly, you'll be providing an incredibly enriching Manito-wish experience for the participants in your care.

Camp Manito-wish YMCA in the Northwoods of Wisconsin has been fostering transformative growth and cultivating collaborative leaders among youth, staff, and lifelong learners for over 100 years. Our progression-based Summer Camp program offers participants a combination of traditional camp activities and a 3 to 7-day wilderness excursion to develop themselves and their skills in a welcoming, tight knit community committed to inclusivity, diversity, and equity. Core to our philosophy is an emphasis on the distinctive wilderness experience we provide to facilitate growth and leadership development to campers and staff alike in partnership with our in-camp experience.

In addition to our Summer Camp program, Manito-wish also features a renowned wilderness expeditions program called Outpost and a full scale, year-round Leadership Program that facilitates team building activities for a multitude of youth and community groups and we have full and part time summer opportunities for staff members who are 18 years and older.
