Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator will work with wilderness activity heads, the Kitchen Manager, and the Program Manager to ensure that groups going out of camp have the food, gear and resources they need. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for making sure the packout facility is kept stocked and clean (to NC health code standards), and the gear is in good repair. This person must enjoy being a mentor and resource for wilderness staff, living and working in the outdoors and working with people different from themselves.

Required Qualifications: Minimum age of 18 years with one full year out of high school.  Experience with wilderness travel, basic gear repair knowledge, and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently. CPR and First Aid Certification.
