Are you passionate about doing what’s best for wildlife and their habitat? Now is your chance to make a difference in Oregon! Direct, coordinate, supervise and implement all wildlife management activities in the North Willamette Watershed District. Direct the collection of biological information on wildlife populations and physical information on the quantity and quality of wildlife habitat in the District. Formulate and implement recommendations and management actions to manage the consumptive and non-consumptive uses of wildlife, and maintain or improve wildlife populations and their habitats. Respond and resolve complaints of wildlife causing damage, wildlife-human conflicts or wildlife related public safety problems. Serve as a technical advisor on wildlife related matters to the public, landowners, and other public agencies within the District.

Qualifications: Requires three years’ biological experience with one year performing activities in a fish or wildlife program such as researching and analyzing data, conducting investigations, applying pertinent laws and regulations, or coordinating and monitoring project activities; and a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/Wildlife Science or a closely-related Bachelor’s degree or three additional years’ biological experience. A Master’s or Doctorate degree will substitute for some experience. Plus one year of leadwork or supervisory experience.
Salary: $4,568-$6,416/mo. Generous benefits package.
