About Camp Taconic

The Taconic community has been providing a nurturing camp environment for children for over 80 years. At Taconic, children are valued and are encouraged to build self-esteem and confidence as well as everlasting friendships. Our dedicated, mature staff creates a warm and supportive atmosphere with expert instruction in a broad range of activities.

The Taconic Mission Statement:
It is our goal to create a safe, fun environment where our campers can gain independence, learn, grow, take risks and evolve into selfless, loyal, honest, passionate people.

During seven weeks at Camp Taconic, lifelong friendships are made, confidence is realized, new skills are developed and fun defines every day!!!!
